The ABSA Cup 2025 quarterfinal line up is complete following Sunday’s round of 16 action at Nkoloma Stadium and Godfrey Ucar Chitalu.
At Nkoloma Stadium in the early kick off it was Green Eagles who emerged victorious with a 4-2 post match win over Prison Leopards after a goalless draw.
In the second match of the day, Kabwe Warriors secured their passage to the last eight with a win over Lusaka Province representatives Makeni All Stars.
David Obashi and Saith Sakala scored the goals for the magnificent People’s team.
In Kabwe, ZESCO United saw off Southern Province side Barts FC 3-1. Lindo Mkhonta scored the opener with a long range strike.
Peter Musukuma doubled the lead before Semiwe Mwila would pull one back for the youthful provincial outfit.
ZESCO United legend John Ching’andu sealed the win with a close range strike.
In the second match it was Power Dynamos who were too powerful for Airpower to move closer to their chase for a league and cup double.
Super League top goalscorer Titus Chansa score a brace while Osmond Chita scored the other goal.
