ABSA Cup 2024 ; Arrows thrash Malalo Police as Nchanga edge Riverplate on spot kicksĀ 

Super League side, Red Arrows thumped Northern Province side Malalo Police 7-1 to book a place in the quarter finals of the ABSA Cup. 

George Chaloba, Ricky Banda and Brian Chilimina scored a brace each with James Chamanga netting the other goal while Pempelo Mwanza scored the consolation goal for Malalo. 

Chaloba was named player of the match for his brace and overall performance. 

In the second match of the day at Arthur Davies Stadium, Nchanga Rangers and Riverplate played to a goalless draw in regulation time. 

It was the Chingola outfit who won 6-5 on penalties and qualified for the quarterfinals.

River Plate’s Charles Siwila won the Man of the Match Award in this Absa Cup 2024 Round of 16 encounter and will walk away with K5000.
