The ABSA Cup will take center stage this weekend with two mouth matches at Woodlands Stadium.
2018 Champions, Nkana will square off with 2012 champions, NAPSA Stars on Saturday while Red Arrows and Green Eagles will clash on Sunday.
ZamFoot Crew now looks at the four players to watch in the semifinals of the ABSA Cup.
Alassane Diarra- Red Arrows
The Malian midfielder has been an impressive figure for Chisi Mbewe’s men this season and he has finally found his scoring boots.
Playing in only his second ABSA Cup game this Sunday Diarra will be key for the Airmen if they are to progress to the final.
Diarra was on target in the quarter final win over Nkwazi and will be eager to add to his tally when he faces off with Green Eagles.
Diarra is the man to watch yes but Ricky Banda, Joseph Phiri, George Mandu and Tresor Tshibwabwa can not be overlooked.
Hosea Silwimba- Green Eagles
The midfielder has been in scintillating form for the Kawale Boys this season.
He has been both their best creator and finisher. He has scored eight goals in the league so far.
Silwimba provided a brilliant pass for Lineker Mwiikisa’s goal in the quarter finals and will again be very vital in the semifinal.

Alex Ng’onga- Nkana
Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga has proved to be a valuable addition to Nkana since his switch from arch rivals Power Dynamos.
The forward has scored nine goals for Nkana so far in the league and will again lead the attack as the 2018 Champions battle for a place in the final against NAPSA Stars.
Apart from Ng’onga, Jacob Ngulube and Diamond Chikwekwe will be important for Kalampa.
Meanwhile Patrick Gondwe needs to up his game for all his potential.
Also look out for Richard ‘Kasuli’ Ngoma, on loan from Atletico Lusaka.
Musonda Kapembwa- NAPSA Stars
The former National Assembly and Lumwana Radiants forward has been enjoying his football under Perry Mutapa at Woodlands Stadium.
Kapembwa has been the Pensioners most prolific goalscorer this season and will be key on Saturday as they face tricky Nkana.
Austin Banda and Simon Nkhata will also be key for NAPSA.
