Newly elected FAZ president Keith Mweemba has hinted that a solution will be found for the ongoing conflict between Chipolopolo Boys coach Avram Grant and striker Fashion Sakala Junior.
Mweemba has highlighted that he must first engage the coach(Grant) on what could have gone wrong and the best possible solution.
“A solution will be found and we will all be happy”, the now former FC MUZA president said. ‘I can’t make any pronouncements without meeting the coach…that would be bad leadership “.
The 45-year-old has also indicated that he will acquaint himself with the contracts for the coaches and engage all of them to find the best way to prepare for the upcoming tournaments.
Meanwhile, Mweemba clarified that members of staff at Football House should not work in fear as no one is losing their job. He hinted that workers conditions with regards to transport, housing and pay rise will be looked at to ensure workers are motivated.
He was speaking during a press briefing held at Football House this afternoon.
Even if Sakala was right, no Coach wants a player with that conduct, it’s him who should humble himself and apologize
