Sacked Trident coach Isreal Mwanza is happy that he has left Zambia Super League side Trident.
Mwanza was shown the door by the North Western Province based side on Monday following a disappointing run of results in the Super League.
“I was called for a meeting after those three games and the executive told me that they wanted nine points in the next five games starting with the game against Red Arrows this weekend,” Mwanza told the Times of Zambia.
Under Mwanza, Trident picked up a point from the opening three matches and currently 17th on the log.
“But before that game, they called me that I have to go on forced administrative leave. Anyway I am happy because I was going through a lot of pressure for nothing,”
Mwanza guided Trident to the Super League.
