Chambeshi happy with foreign-based players

Zambia U-23 played a Practice Match against El Nasr SC of Egypt on Thursday Afternoon in Cairo at the El Nasr Sports Complex.

Klings Kangwa grabbed a brace while Emmanuel Banda and Edward Chilufya scored a goal each for Zambia.

Speaking after the Match Coach Beston Chambeshi who is Currently with the team in Egypt was happy with the Result and that this will help the foreign-based players who have recently joined the team and that the team has fully settled.

“We have an outlook of the foreign players who have come in, in terms of Fitness they are okay all that we need is the Combination and the way they have the performance you could see that they are angry to play so what we need is just to push and Encourage them”

“The boys are Looking forward to the games its only that we are missing those three players who are not yet in (Patson, Enoch and Fashion) otherwise will Conclude the Final Session, I believe in those who are in like Klings and Edward is also Coming up well and we are trying to use him as a top Strike,” he said.

“We are looking forward to the first game of the tournament and its importance in a tournament like this one to pick three points but at the same time we have to cautious to make sure we don’t Concede by looking at attack and defense.”

Zambia will open its 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign against South Africa in group B to be played on Saturday the 9th of November, 2019.
