The Zambia U17 National team has been drawn in Group B alongside fellow COSAFA giants South Africa for the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifiers.
This follows the draw held in Johannesburg, South Africa on Tuesday morning setting up a mouth-watering battle with regional rivals South Africa.
Apart from the defending Champions and South Africa Group B also has Madagascar and Malawi making it a Group of Death.
Hosts Zimbabwe are the seeded team in Group A along with Mozambique, Comoros and Eswatini.
Group C contains last year’s beaten finalists Angola, Botswana, Mauritius and Lesotho.
Only the top team in each pool and the best second-placed side will advance to the semifinals of the regional showpiece.
The tournament will be staged from September 11–20 in Harare, Zimbabwe with matches to be played at the Heart Stadium in Waterfalls and the Ngoni Stadium in Norton.
