Lusaka Dynamos star striker Chris Mugalu stole the show in week eight netting a hatrick to help Elite to a four nil bashing of the new boys Kabwe Youth Sports Academy away in Kabwe.
The hatrick was the first recorded this season and takes his tally to 6 for the season as the outright top goalscorer this season so far. Ugandan defender Joseph ochaya chipped in with a goal to make sure KYSA’s search for a first win of the season continues.
Log leaders Zesco United opened up a two point lead after beating Sensational Zanaco at Sunset Stadium. David Owino’s 11th minute strike was enough to secure maximum points for Team Yaziko on George Lwandamina’s return.
Idris Ilunga Mbombo came off the bench to score the winner for Nkana as they beat Napsa Stars. Luka Lungu levelled matters for Napsa Stars after Shadreck Musonda had opened the scores from the penalty spot.
New Monze Swallows woes continued as were handed a three nil bashing by National Assembly. Young striker Musonda Kapembwa scored his first goal of the season making it two nil after William Njobvu’s opener. Captain Peter Mwangeni scored the other goal.
Kabwe Warriors and Buildcon played out to a one all draw. Portipher Zulu put Team Kopala in the lead in the 7th minute .Former Zanaco striker Heritier Nkoko equalised for Kabwe Warriors.
