ZSL: NAPSA Stars, Nkwazi, Eagles record wins as ZESCO game is abandoned

NAPSA Stars finally returned to winning ways while Noan’s new striker David Kabala continued his fine form in front of goal.

The MTN Super League entered week 26 of action on Saturday with the battle for the title and quest for survival all heating up.

In Kabwe, NAPSA Stars put behind their February woes as they edged Kabwe Warriors 1-0 to start this new month on a ‘march-better’ note.

Zambia U-23 National team forward Jimmy Mukeya’s second half strike was enough for Perry Mutapa’s Pensioners.

In Kitwe, Justin Shonga scored a ninth minute goal to hand Nkwazi their third win in four games.

In the second match, David Kabala scored his sixth goal of the season but it was not enough as a Derrick Mukombozi own goal made sure Prison Leopards walked away with a point.

Defender Chilimba Moonga scored a brace to guide Green Buffaloes to a 2-0 win over Lumwana Radiants.

In Chingola, 2021/2022 golden boot winner Ricky Banda was on target as Red Arrows and Nchanga Rangers played to a 2-2 draw.

At Sunset Stadium, Amity Shamende scored a second half brace to earn the Kawale Boys a comeback win after going down to a Chawanangwa Kaonga early goal.

In Kansanshi, The match between the Mabanga Boys and ZESCO United was halted at halftime due to heavy rain and will continue this morning.

The action continues this afternoon with Forest Rangers welcoming FC MUZA while bottom placed Buildcon FC play host to log leaders Power Dynamos.
