ZNbc to televise National Division One games as Supersport increase live games to 135

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) General Secretary, Adrian Kashala has confirmed that National Division One games will be broadcast live on Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC).

Kashala who was speaking during the official launch said a new station has been opened for the purpose of televising the second tier of Zambian football.

“We are set to have National Division One games on ZNBC TV, There is a channel that has been created to air National Division One games. We just have a few in house issues that we need to clear, I think hopefully this weekend we should be done,” Kashala said.

Multi Choice Chief Customer Officer confirmed that Supersport will increase the number of games they will televise this season. 135 games will be aired this season as compared to last seasons 91.

“We are excited that the Super League is returning on our screens and the fans can enjoy their favorite sport. As Supersport we recognize the virtues of vibrant partnerships such as with MTN and FAZ which allows us to enrich the lives of many Zambians. It’s through such collaborations that the Zambia Super League is a success,” she said.

” We have been sponsoring the league through broadcasting and training of local personnel since 2007. Football players have benefited a lot from this sponsorship and matches being broadcast live, Our players stand a great chance of being discovered.”

“We are proud to announce that this season we are committing to continue with the increased number of games which we will be broadcasting and this will bring the total number to 135 games which is a considerable increase from 91 games which were broadcast last season,” She added.
