Zesco United coach Zlatko Krmpotic has named an 18 man strong squad for his side’s CAF Confederations Cup first round return match against Le Messager Ngozi of Burundi.
Captain Jacob Banda who missed the first leg owing to suspension returns to the squad and is expected to reclaim his position in goal.
Simon Silwimba who was injured in the first leg and was replaced by Dauti Musekwa will miss he the trip but Zlat has enough cover in the position with Musekwa available and Ben Bahn able to slot in that position as well.
Despite Bahn and new signing Marcel Kalonde being available for selection, the new coach opted to play Kondwani Mtonga in central defense together with David Odhiambo.
The team leaves for Bujumbura on Thursday at 02:30AM for the game that will be played at 15:00hrs on Saturday.
Zesco carry a 2 – 0 lead with goals scored by Jackson Mwanza and Kondwani Mtonga.
