  1. When a coach is moved from Assistant coach at ZESCO Ndola to go and head ZESCO Livingstone, is that really a demotion?
This is called restructuring. ZESCO may be trying to strengthen its nurseries in far flung areas by using experienced coaches so that they can tap talent, which everyone cries about to provide manpower to the main ZESCO team in Ndola. ZESCO may also be assessing the performance of this coach if given the mantle to handle a team on his own. Demotion? no.

  2. Zesco just put everyone on notice! They’ve brought in a coach with pedigree…let’s see what ripples or waves this will have in the local game. He might be great, or he might turn out to not be that good, but it makes the local game so much more interesting

    • @Positive thinking, they should also look over their shoulder, Buildcon have brought in a Spaniard with uefa pro licence. This is the most qualified coach that we have ever hosted on this land. Wapya baisa.

  3. I am still wondering why guys like Patrick Phiri, a coach with so much club success is not being sought after by some of the bigger clubs though.

    • Ndola based, recently promoted to the premiership, sponsored by some big shot contractors. They seem to have adopted the Napsa strategy for survival by signing on some older experienced players. Bali serious. Now the Spanish coach today says he will impose the Spanish style of play – fast expressive football where players are given the room to show their skills. I like the speed part ! if you remember some 2 years ago we told by some Spanish experts under some fifa technical assistance programme that our plyers are skilful but our game is too slow – something which I totally agree with. this thing of building up slowly from the back fyakale. need quick counter attacks these days – one long ball kuli striker – wele !

  4. Onther zambia quits egyption club .its not very why he opted to leave his club..zambian talent is poorly managed by these useless managers . They are only after money..
