MTN Super League side ZESCO United have confirmed the acquisition of Chadian international Amine Hiver.
Hiver has joined the 9 time Super League Champions on a two year deal from Cameroonian top tier side Aigle Royal De La Menoua.
“We are excited to announce the signing of 25-year-old Chadian International Striker Amine Hiver from Cameroonian top tier league side AIGLE ROYAL DE LA MENOUA on a 2-year deal.
Hiver’s impressive record speaks for itself. He was top scorer for his former club last season with 9 goals and 14 assists, and has been a regular for the Chad National Team since 2019, featuring in several international tournaments, including AFCON 2023 Qualifiers and World Cup 2026 Qualifiers.”
Hiver has targeted becoming the clubs top goalscorer.
“I feel at home at ZESCO United. My goal is to become the club topscorer. I will do my best to help the team win trophies and advance in the CAF Confederation Cup Competition,” Hiver said.
Hiver is the fourth player unveiled in the recent past after Benedict Chepeshi from Red Arrows, Anthony Chiyuka from Konkola Blades and George Ngoma from Green Buffaloes in the last five days.
ZESCO United will represent Zambia in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing second in the 2023/2024 MTN Super League season.
