Congo giants TP Mazembe scored an injury time goal to beat Zesco United 1 – 0 and emerge winners of the 2015 four team international club tournament which ended yesterday.
With the game headed for a draw, Ousmane Cisse was the hero of the day with a last gasp effort which handed Mazembe the title while Zesco finished second in the round-robbing contest which also had Don Bosco of Congo DR and Azam of Tanzania who finished in 3rd and 4th position respectively.
Zambian defender Kabaso Chongo started in defence for Mazembe and played the entire game while TP Mazembe on loan striker Jonas Sakuwaha also started for Zesco United.
Zesco beat Don Bosco 1 – 0 in the opening match before drawing 2 – 2 with Azam.
The team is back in the country. Zesco travel to Swaziland to play Mbabane Swallows on the 17th of February, 2015.
