Zesco United coach Mumamba Numba has urged his players to be clinical in front of goal.
The nine times Zambian Champions host South African side Royal AM at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday with kick off at 3pm.
“We have a team that can take us to the next stage of this competition, all we need is to be clinical,” Numba said on Friday.
“We are playing good football but the only part that is lacking is our finishing in front of goal. If we can be clinical, we will start cruising,” he added
With the aggregate still goalless from the first leg, favourites Zesco United will be under pressure to out perform the South African side.
“Our preparations have been going on well since we came back from South Africa, the team has been shaping up very well, the morale in camp is very high,” he said.
“The players are looking forward to this game, it is a very important game on our part looking at where we are coming from. we played well in South Africa unfortunately we came with a barren draw which was not a result we wanted.”
In the past decade, Zesco United has made strides in Africa, and reached the CAF Champions League semi final in 2016.
