Zesco United have been shortlisted for the CAF 2016 Club of the year award.
The CAF Champions league semi finalist will battle for the prestigious gong with African Champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Mo Bejaia of Algeria and TP Mazembe of Congo DR.
Mayuka’s Zamalek are the other team on the shortlist.
Despite entering the champions league as outsiders, Zesco bullied their way to the semi finals and were one game from playing in the final.
Not so sure what the point of shortlisting is when it is glowingly obvious who will take it.
