Zesco United will release quartet of striker Lazarus Kambole, midfielder John Ching’andu and defenders Bornwell Silengo and Shemmy Mayembe after today’s week 13 Super League fixture against Kabwe youth.
The four will be making their COSAFA castle cup maiden appearances and will be given the huge task of helping Zambia their first COSAFA castle cup since 2013.
Kambole has become a key member of the locally based national team set up after making a dream debut at the last CHAN tournament in Morocco with John Ching’andu expected to be among the creative minds in midfield alongside Lusaka dynamos’ Clatous chota Chama.
The COSAFA castle cup bound Chipolopolo squad will regroup today in the evening prior to their departure for South Africa on Wednesday May 30th.
Zambia face Namibia in the quarterfinals on June 2nd at the Peter Mokaba stadium.
