ZESCO Ndola Girls suffer first defeat, Buffaloes, Trident, Indeni, and Red Arrows record wins

ZESCO Ndola Girls finally suffered their first defeat of the season while Red Arrows kicked into gear as the FAZ Women’s Super Division week 14 came alive. 

The Women’s Super Division returned after a 10 day  break with week 14 matches. 

Zanaco Ladies welcomed Red Arrows, ZESCO Ndola Girls welcomed Police Dove Queens while Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club made a trip to Kabwe to face Prison Leopards Queens. 

ZESCO Ndola Girls suffered their first defeat of the season losing 2-1 at home. 

Happy Pinto’s late strike was not enough to rescue anything for the Zegalicious Girls as Rita Mwila’s brace gave Police Dove Queens their fifth win of the season. 

In Kabwe, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football cruised to a 3-0 win over Prison Leopards Queens.  This was the first game post the Ireen ‘Xavi’ Lungu era 

After the departure of Lungu, Hellen Chanda and Martha Tembo to Kazakhstan, The Zambia sponsored side still managed an emphatic win away in Kabwe. 

Natasha Nanyangwe, Maweta Chilenga and Maylan Mulenga scored a goal each to make sure the defending Champions remained the only team yet to lose a game this season. 

At Sunset Stadium, Red Arrows came alive as they thrashed Zanaco Ladies 5-0. 

Copper Queens forward Ochumba Oseke Lubanji scored a hat-trick while Prisca  Chilufya and Mary Mambwe chipped in with a goal each. 

Adnelly Sakala scored the quickest goal of the season just seconds into the match helping YASA Queens to a 1-0 win over Nkwazi Queens. 

Indeni Roses edged Mufulira Wanderers Queens 1-0 while Trident Queens beat ZISD 2-1. 

National Assembly and Queens Academy played to a goalless draw while BUSA Queens succumbed to a 1-0 loss, their seventh loss of the season.
