ZESCO Ndola Girls have strengthened their title push with the signing of Kenyan international attacking midfielder Ivy Omondi on a two-year deal.
The ZPL Women’s Super League champions have secured Omondi’s services as they continue to build a squad capable of defending their crown. The creative midfielder arrives in Ndola with an impressive résumé, having most recently played a pivotal role in guiding Police Bullets FC to the Kenyan Women’s Premier League 2023/24 title.
Omondi has also featured for the Kenya senior women’s national team, Harambee Starlets, and gained valuable international exposure during a stint with Sethu FC in the Indian Women’s League.
Renowned for her vision, composure on the ball, and playmaking ability in the final third, Omondi is expected to become the creative heartbeat of the ZESCO midfield as the Ndola outfit intensifies its pursuit of a second consecutive league title.

She’s joined the team on a two-year deal, bringing a wealth of experience from the Kenya Women’s Premier League, Indian Women’s League, and with the Kenyan senior women’s national team,” the club said in a statement.

Omondi could make her debut as early as this afternoon when ZESCO travel to Nchanga Stadium to face Nchanga Rangers in a Week 24 encounter.
ZESCO Ndola Girls currently sit second on the log with 52 points, just one point behind leaders Green Buffaloes WFC, and crucially with two games in hand—making Omondi’s arrival timely as the title race reaches a decisive phase.
