ZESCO Ndola Girls seal Eden University Women’s Super League title with win over Choma Warriors 

ZESCO Ndola Girls sealed the 2024/2025 Eden University Women’s Super League title following a comprehensive 3-0 win over Choma Warriors away in Choma. 

Goals from Marjory Mulenga, Penelope Mulubwa and Ruth Mukoma gave Zegalicious a comfortable win to seal the title. 

The win is ZESCO Ndola Girls’ 26th of the season and they are yet to suffer defeat this season with the other three games ending in draws. 

ZESCO Ndola Girls have now moved to 81 points on the log table after 29 games, a tally no team can match in the remaining games. 

Second placed Indeni Roses are on 67 points with 4 games left to play while defending Champions Green Buffaloes who have 6 games left to play are currently on 62 points, meaning they can only reach a total of 79 and 80 points should they win all their remaining games. 

ZESCO Ndola Girls are only the second team to win the Women’s Super League since its inception with Green Buffaloes winning all the previous editions.
