Zambia’s representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup Zesco United will be without three first team players for their trip to Nigeria where they will face Enugu Rangers in the pre-group stage 1st leg round of the competition.
Coach Zlatko Krmpotic will be without midfielder Misheck Chaila and strikers Idriss Mbombo as well as Jackson Mwanza for the crucial game.
Chaila and Mbombo are out due to injury while Mbombo is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards in the competition so far.
Mwanza was injured during the Charity Shield semi final match against Power Dynamos.
Zlatko however has depth in his squad to cover for the absent platers with Anthony Akumu Agay available to cover for Chaila in the holding midfield role together with Kondwani Mtonga.
Upfront Davy Daka will be available to partner Jesse Were should the coach decide to go with two strikers.
The 18 man squad will leave for Nigeria tomorrow afternoon.
The game will be played on Sunday, 9th April at Nnandi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu at 16 hours local time (15 hours Zambian Time).
