Zambia Super League defending Champions, Zesco United returned safely from Tanzania yesterday and have since shifted their focus to the MTN/FAZ Super League.
The Ndola based side landed at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport Airport around 13:45hrs on Sunday and went straight into camp to prepare for the rescheduled MTN/FAZ week two tie against Nakambala Leopards on Wednesday.
Zesco was in Tanzania for CAF Champions League duties where they drew 1-1 With Young Africans. Zimbabwean midfielder Thabani Kamusoko scored an injury-time strike to force a draw at the National Stadium in Dar es Salam.
Patrick Sibomana put Yanga in the lead early on in the first half from the penalty spot following a clumsy challenge by Marcel Kalonda.
The return leg is set for September 28th at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
