Zesco United have confirmed the departure of Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba.
Kampamba has agreed to join Libyan side Al Nasr on a permanent deal from the Ndola based side.
The 27 year old is currently Zesco United’s top scorer with 7 goals.
He joined Zesco United at the start of the 2020/2021 season, and went on to help Zega Mambo win their 9th league title.
In his three and half season at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Kemuka has scored 21 goals.
Zesco United CEO Charles Kalala had revealed that Kampamba’s contract was due to expire in August this year.
“He actually had 8 months till the end of his contract with Zesco but we could not hold on to his career path since time has come for him to play professional football,” Kalala said.
On the international stage, the former Nkana and Power Dynamos midfielder was part of the Chipolopolo Boys at the CAF 2023 African Cup of Nations.
He watched from the bench in all the three group matches in Ivory Coast.
He has won the Cosafa Cup twice (2022 & 2023) and was named the Player of the tournament at the 2022 edition.
