Zesco, Arrows keep title hopes alive as Eagles draw

Zesco United beat Konkola Blades to move second on while Red Arrows thumped Buildcon to extend the lead at the top to six points.

Struggling Green Buffaloes suffered a defeat against Kansanshi Dynamos while Nkana beat Kafue Celtic.

Ricky Banda netted a brace to guide Green Buffaloes to a guide the Airmen to a 3-1 win over Buildcon.

Malian midfielder Alassane Diarra scored the other goal while Jonathan Monongo scored Team Kopala’s consolation goal.

In the Earlier game at Nkoloma Stadium, Wezzy Kumwenda scored a brace to help the Zambia Police sponsored outfit, Nkwazi to a 2-2 draw with Lusaka Dynamos.

The point is Indeni’s first in six games having lost five consecutive games.
