The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed the date and time of the Week 29 match between Zanaco and City of Lusaka.
The match which was previously scheduled to be played on 1 October will now be played on 11 October at the Sunset Stadium with kick off at 15h00.
The match will come on the back of Zanaco’s 1-1 with Napsa Stars and City of Lusaka’s 4-1 defeat at home to Lumwana Radiants on Sunday.
Victory for Numba Mumamba’s fourth placed defending champions will see them move up to second position with 54 points, two adrift of leaders Green Buffaloes.
City of Lusaka had earlier protested the postponement of the match demanding that the match be forfeited in their favour because the national football governing body had not followed procedure when informing them that the match had been pushed to a later date.
City of Lusaka are at the bottom of the standings with 12 points from 28 matches in which they have scored 22 while conceding 51 goals in the process.
