Zanaco have turned down an offer from Napsa Stars for goalkeeper Charles Lawu.
And Lawu is not part of Zanaco’s pre season squad on the Copperbelt.
Despite placing Lawu on the transfer list, the bankers believe Napsa have not matched their evaluation.
“The club has not sanctioned the deal. Napsa have offered around K150,000 but that’s a bit low from what the figures the executive is looking at,” a ZamFoot Crew insider said.
“He (Charles Lawu) is really disappointed. He thought he did his best for Zanaco especially in his first two seasons,” he added
“He is sad about the situation.
Lawu’s handlers are exploring several possibilities.
The 30 year old goalkeeper joined the bankers in 2021 on an initial 2 year deal.
He battled for the no.1 spot against Lameck Siame until last season when he spent most of the time in the stands.
He only made 2 appearances and and conceded 2 goals.
