Sensational zanaco assistant coach Dabid Chilufya has revealed that the Bankers will be without the majority of their foreign players who have gone back home.

The foreign players are entitled to a ticket to go back home in the middle of the season and the technical bench decided to send the players back home at this time. Only Zimbabwean midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike has remained.

Chilufya confirmed that Roger Kola will miss the match as he was still injured. He also announced the availability of Chitiya Mususu who has recovered from a knock.

“Chitiya Mususu is back but Roger is not there. AIl the foreign players we have gone except Tafadzwa Rusike. People may think we are playing this game like it’s not important but it’s very important it’s just that the players are entitled to this,” he said.

Dabid is also concerned with the lack of proper rest for the teams that will represent the country in continental games. Chilufya feels the teams should have been given enough time to rest ahead of the next season.

“It’s sad that the teams that will represent the country in continental football are still active, We are afraid that players may get fatigued by midseason but that’s how it was set up by the FA. I believe they were supposed to give teams time to rest but we will find a way to deal with it, ” he said.

Sensational zanaco and Buildcon will square off on Saturday afternoon in the MTN/FAZ Super league third and fourth playoff at Woodlands Stadium.

Zanaco and Buildcon finished second in Stream A and Stream B respectively. The match will act as a curtain raiser for the Superleague play-off final between Zesco United and Green Eagles.
