Sensational ZANACO suffered another defeat at Sunset on Saturday afternoon as Nkwazi handed them a comprehensive 3-1 beating in front of their fans.
The loss was ZANACO’s third in the last six games and eleventh loss overall since the start of the 2024/2025 MTN Super League season.
Former Nkana defender Richard Ocran put the visitors in the lead in the 43rd minute from the penalty spot after George Ndhlovu was brought down by Kelvin Kapumbu.
Christopher Zulu doubled the lead eight minutes into the second half after coming off the bench.
Wilson Chisala pulled one back for ZANACO in the 67th minute but an own goal by Dalutso Phiri in the 90th minute meant Nkwazi regained their two goal cushion and gave the Zambia Police sponsored outfit a comprehensive 3-1 win over their cross town rivals.
