Zanaco football club head coach Numba Mumamba has declared his players ready for tomorrow’s blockbuster encounter against the reigning Zambian Premier League champions Zesco united at the levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
” We are playing zesco away and I must say Zesco united is the best team in the country but we have the ammunition to beat them,” he said.
Coach Numba told the ZAMFOOT Crew that he is confident in the players he has at the moment, saying the players they brought in are better than the players they released.
“Our expectations are to perform better than we performed in the transitional season, our target is to finish in the top two of the season. we also want to thank our supporters who continued supporting us in the difficult period and we are positive we will achieve more this season,” Numba said.
Numba has since named an eighteen man squad that has travelled to Ndola for the match.
Roger Kola , Chitiya Mususu and Emmanuel Okutu have all made the cut together influential midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike and speedy winger Charles Zulu.
Ziyo Tembo, Belchance Makiesa, Kelvin Owusu and Tiberius Lombard have all made the cut and will fight for the two centre back positions available in tomorrow’s match.
Zesco United and the Bankers wi square off at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium at 15:00hrs in the match of the weekend.
