Zanaco Football club will be aiming to reclaim the top spot this afternoon when the MTN/FAZ Super League enters week 20 of action.
The Bankers will be away at Nkoloma Stadium in an early kick-off of a doubleheader as they square off with High Flying Nkwazi in a Lusaka derby. A win for Zanaco will take them to the summit temporarily as current log leaders, Zesco United host Lumwana Radiants tomorrow at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Zanaco has dominated this fixture with nine wins compared to Nkwazi’s six since 2006 with six matches ending in draws.
A win for Zanaco will take them to 36 points, two above Zesco United as for Nkwazi a win may see them break into the top eight.
At the same venue, Lusaka Dynamos will host Forest Rangers in a third vs fifth showdown.
Lusaka Dynamos will be looking to get back to winning ways having suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of NAPSA Stars on Saturday. Fole Malembe is looking to end a two-match winless streak and force their way back into the top four.
At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Buildcon will welcome Power Dynamos in another top-tier clash. Both teams are fresh from wins over the weekend and will be looking to continue on that trajectory this afternoon.
Green Eagles welcome inconsistent Green Buffaloes while Indeni faces off with struggling Kitwe United.
The other match will see out-of-form Nkana welcome tricky Kabwe Warriors at Nkana Stadium.
Nkana were handed a huge three-nil bashing by Power Dynamos over the weekend and will be keen to get back to winning ways.

I fail to understand Zambian football. As far as I understand football, it is easier to play defensive position than play a mid field or front line (attack) but our league today can’t produce quality defence players, goal keepers?
