Sensational Zanaco left-back Lawrence Chungu has issued an apology following a video that circulated on social media showing him counting money.
Chungu has stressed that he was just having fun with his teammates and that video was meant for fun with teammates. Chungu took to Facebook to issue his apology.
“Good morning to you all I would love to apologise concerning the video that as been uploaded two days ago we where only having fun with the teammates and then haters within the group shared the video its very unprofessional it was not intended for what it as been become but all in all am asking for an apology to all family friends and football lovers even those affected please forgive me ?, kings,???âš½????.”

Chungu will be in action on Sunday for the Bankers when they host Cano Sports of Equatorial Guinea in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup playoff tie.
Chungu is also part of the 21-member squad summoned by coach Aggrey Chiyangi for the back-to-back Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria and Zimbabwe.
