Zambia Super League side, Zanaco has appointed Modest Hamalabbi as their new Chief Executive Officer.
The Bankers have also named former National team player Emmanuel Munaile as the clubs Technical Director.
Munaile is the first ever Technical Director (TD) that the seven time Super League Champions have ever appointed, Newly created position at the club.
The club confirmed the development in a statement by club media officer Martha Nshimbi which was availed to the ZamFoot Crew.
“Sensational Zanaco Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Modest Hamalabbi as the new Chief Executive Officer and Mr Emmanuel Munaile as Technical Director.
Mr Hamalabbi has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Zanaco Football Club effective today, 1st June 2022 following a thorough recruitment process.
Prior to his appointment, Mr Hamalabbi worked at Zambia Qualification Authority (ZAQA) as Director of Technical Services. He has also worked at Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) as Director of Education and Training.
Mr Munaile also joins the club as Technical Director with vast experience in football, previously been at Zanaco both as a player and coach.”
The Bankers finished the 2021/2022 MTN Super League season on 6th place with 49 points and will be hoping to do better in the coming campaign.
