Kaizer Chiefs, Kambole part ways

South Africa DSTV Premiership side, Kaizer Chiefs has part wayd with Zambian forward Lazarus Kambole.

The club confirmed Kambole’s departure on their social media pages, monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

Kambole has left Naturena along with striker Samir Nurkovic, defender Daniel Cardozo and midfielder Lebogang Manyama.

“Kaizer Chiefs parts ways with Kambole!

Striker Lazalous Kambole, a 2019 acquisition from Zambian side, Zesco United is headed for new pastures after scoring two goals in his 46 appearances for the Glamour Boys. We wish him well in the future.”

The 28-year-old joined Kaizer Chiefs from Zambia Premier League giants, ZESCO United in 2019 after breakthrough performances for the Ndola outfit in the CAF Champions League.

Kambole made headlines across the African continent when he scored a hat-trick in five minutes in a Caf Champions League match against Eswatini giants Mbabane Swallows.

Caf later confirmed that Kambole’s hat-trick is the fastest recorded in the history of the continental tournament.

Kambole boasts of 7 goals for the Copper Bullets in 15 appearances.
