The Zambia Super league has grown over the years with a number of foreign players trooping in for greener pastures. Their is an injection of new investment something Buildcon and Lusaka Dynamos have been symbols of this season but overall most teams have made a number good buys as far foreign talent is involved.
With only six games to go to the end of the season, Today we look the top 10 foreign players who have made an impact this season.
10. Heritier Nkoko- Congo DR (Zanaco)
The Congolese striker arrived at Sunset Stadium in midseason and did not come with a big pedigree on his head. Nkoko has however managed to establish himself at Zanaco netting five times on the games he has played.
Not the best striker in the league but Nkoko has managed impose himself at Sunset and terrorise opponent defenders at will.
9.Geofrey Sserunkuma- Uganda (Buildcon)
The 2017/18 Uganda premier league player of the year joined team Kopala in June with a huge reputation in Uganda having won Player of the year and topped the scoring charts.
Sserunkuma has hit the ground running and has managed to score five goals for 9th placed Buildcon this far.
8.Joseph Ochaya- Uganda (Lusaka Dynamos)
Ochaya maybe just the best left back in the league but that’s a story for another day as of today we look at his contribution since joining Lusaka Dynamos. The Ugandan has been very reliable on the left wing back position not just in stopping threats but also in creating them with beautifully baked crosses.
7.Lee addy- Ghana ( Lusaka Dynamos)
Lee Addy was one of the defenders that represented Ghana at the 2010 world cup and his arrival at Lusaka Dynamos was one that came with great expectations.
The Ghanaian has not dissapointed as he has been rock solid in that Lusaka Dynamos defense establishing himself as one of the reliable and regulars week in week out.
6. Fidele Bosadja- Congo DR (Buildcon FC)
The former Nkana midfielder has found his rhythm at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. Fidele has made the Buildcon FC midfield his home, Establishing himself as one of the dependable players for Team Kopala.

5. Walter Binene Sabwa Bwalya – Congo DR (Nkana)
It’s been a troubled Seasson for the 2016 super league top goalscorer who was out of action for over a month sue to questions about his nationality.
Forget all those distractions Walter has been fantastic for Nkana netting 10 times for the record 12 time Super league champions.
4.Diego Apanane – Congo DR (Nkana)
The Nkana left back is one of the beat if not the best in the league in his position. Apanane has scored four times for Nkana mostly from set process.
Apanane has also been very influential in stopping opponent striker from the wings and putting in those delicious ball for the likes of Walter Bwalya.
3. Zikuru Adams- Ghana (Nchanga Rangers)
One of the most underrated players in the league. Adams has been Nchanga Rangers go to man for goals. He has 9 goals so far to his season.
Zikuru has more like been carrying Rangers on his shoulders and their survival chances depends on keeping him happy and fit for the matches.
2. Rahim Osumanu – (Ghana)
Mufurila wanderers striker Rahim Osumanu comes in second . Osumanu has found the back of the net 9 times for Mighty who are currently fighting to survive relegation.
Osamau’s fighting spirit spirit and never sat die attitude has helped Mighty and continues to be a key figure of the set up at Shinde.
1. Chris Mugalu – Congo DR (Lusaka Dynamos)
The top spot ofcourse can only be occupied by the leading Top goalscorer so far Chris Mugalu. Mugalu he scored a total of 17 goals this far and remains an integral part of the inner circle at Heroes Stadium.
This is his first season at Heroes Stadium and if his current stats are anything to go by the lanky forward is expected to get even better next year.
Other notable player worth mentioning are Isaac Isinde and Moro Lamine both of Buildcon FC who have been rock solid in the heart of the team Kopala defense.
Kenyan trio of Clifton Miheso, David Owino and Jesse Jackson Were have also had decent season but due to the heavy competition could not make our top 10.

I totally agree, that headline is very misplaced. Mugalu, Odhiambo, Ochaya are the best by far for me.
