The Zambian Premier League (ZPL) season will kick off on August 9 with the curtain raiser, the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield.
The League proper will kick off on August 16 with some exciting fixtures.
Like is tradition, Champions Power Dynamos will open the season with a clash against ABSA Cup winners, ZESCO United in the Curtain raiser, the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield on August 9th.
ZPL has since released the fixtures for the 2025/26 season; for the MTN Super League and Eden University Women Super League.

In the MTN Super League, Defending champions Power Dynamos will kick off their title defense with a home match at Arthur Davies Stadium against Red Arrows.
Zesco United will start their campaign at home against newly promoted Konkola Blades while fellow newcomers Kansanshi Dynamos will host Kabwe Warriors at Independent Stadium.
Mines United will face Mufulira Wanderers at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium with Prison Leopards hosting record 13 time Champions, Nkana FC at President’s Stadium.
NAPSA Stars will welcome Green Eagles at Woodlands Stadium and Nkwazi FC play host to Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Nchanga Rangers will host Mutondo Stars at Nchanga stadium while Zanaco FC will be away to FC MUZA in Mazabuka.
In the Women’s Super League; Champions- ZESCO United will start their title defense against Trident Queens.
Green Buffaloes will start their campaign away to YASA Queens, Luyando Foundation Girls will visit Green Eagles.
Konkola Blades Queens will be welcomed in the Super League by Red Arrows while Amazing Grace battle Chipata Girls in their first ever Super League match.
