A quartet of Zambian referees has been appointed to officiate Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Rwanda and Liberia in Kigali.
Hillary Hambaba will take charge of the Group K encounter at the Amahoro Stadium, with Trywell Nyirenda and Francis Swaba serving as first and second assistant referees respectively.
Chanshi Kasongo has been appointed as the fourth official.
The appointment comes on the same day Zambia’s Chipolopolo face Algeria in their opening Group I qualifier in Tizi Ouzou, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CAT.
The Zambian officials will therefore be under the spotlight before Zambia’s senior men’s national team takes to the field against the North African hosts.
Friday’s Rwanda-Liberia fixture is scheduled to kick off at 18:00 CAT.
