Four Zambian players abroad were on target on Saturday for the respective clubs.
DR CONGO – CAF Champions League
African Cup of Nations winning midfielder Nathan Sinkala was on the scoresheet as TP Mazembe demolished Tunisian side ES Setif.
Sinkala scored from the spot in the 4-1 win. This was the first penalty kick the former Green Buffaloes, Sochaux and Grasshoppers midfielder has hit since that one in Gabon in 2012 against Ivory Coast.
Compatriots Kabaso Chongo played the full game in central defence while former Chipolopolo Boys captain Rainford Kalaba came in and played the last 24 minutes.
TANZANIA
On loan Red Arrows striker Lubinda Mundia scored a goal for Singinda in their four nil win over Njombe MJI.
ARMENIA
Former Zambia Under-20 captain Lubambo Musonda scored a brace in Gandzasar Kapan’s 4-3 win over Pyunik.
The 23 year old has taken his tally for the season to 8 goals.
AUSTRIA
Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka returned to action after a layoff as he scored and assisted as FC Liefering emerged 3-2 victorious over Hartberg.
