Zambia Women U17 to face South Africa in a friendly

Zambia Women U17 national team have regrouped and entered residential camp today in preparation for a friendly match against South Africa on Saturday,25th November, 2017. South Africa are using this match to prepare for a World cup qualifier against Botswana.

The South African FA have since requested for a friendly match to go on this Saturday.

The young shepolopolo (Copper queens) were booted out of World Cup qualifier by Botswana after taking a 5-2 first leg advantage at Nkoloma Stadium. Striker Christabel Phiri scored a double brace with Captain Lydia Mubanga scoring the remaining goal .

Botswana however reversed the result with a 4 nil win, Eliminating the young Shepolopolo 6-5 on aggregate.
