The Super Eagles are boasting the likes of British Premier League and Champions League winner John Obi Mikel in addition to fellow England based attacking triumvirate of Iwobi, Kelechi and Ahmed Musa.
While many pundits will be pointing the CVs as a reason to believe that they are favourites, Zambia has an attacking force which could rival any nation on the continent.
In Nathan Sinkala, the Copperbullets boasts one of the best deep lying playmaker on the continent.
The 26 year old is the heartbeat of the Chipolopolo. He is not an old fashioned anchorman but a modern day holding midfielder.
Arsenal’s Iwobi is a budding talent while Rainford Kalaba  is a veteran of six African Cup of Nations tournaments. The 30 year old can walk into any side in Africa and claim a starting berth.
Ahmed Musa and Chisamba Lungu know each to well from their encounters in the Russian League.
Many fans are hoping Chisamba will transfer his club form to the international fold.
A lot is expected from the 25 year old Russian based after an on and off relationships with previous two interim Chipolopolo coaches; Honour Janza and George Lwandamina, who never fully trusted him with a starting berth.
Under Wedson Nyirenda, the man he considers his mentor, Chisambadihno is expected to thrive.
The Chipolopolo faithful now consider him the country’s symbol of present and future taking over Emmanuel Mayuka as the poster boy of Zambian football. Don’t be shocked if you see a ‘Welcome Back’ banner for the prodigal son at the Stadium.
Recalled striker Rodger Kola couldn’t make the grade in Belgium, but there’s one Nigerian wonder kid who is earmarked for stardom and his name is Moses Simon.
The Gent midfielder  is the Super Eagles’ secret weapon.
Could you believe that Fwayo Tembo has never been to any major tournament at senior level despite being on the scene since 2007.
While special attention will be given to Kalaba and Chisamba, the Galactico could just be the match winner on Sunday.
The combination of Collins Mbesuma and Winstone Kalengo have an edge over an Ighalo-less strike force though Stopilla Sunzu and company should be wary of that boy Kelechi.

let the best team win. one Africa
Ighalo? The real danger is Kelechi Iheanacho! Though not an out and out striker like Ighalo, he is far more dangerous and intelligent. His biggest strength is his rasping, accurate and piercing shots in and around the box.
Watch out for the silky touches, intelligent movement and interplay, and through balls from Iwobi and Mikel.
What Zambia must do is stick together, and don’t give an inch in midfield. I like Rainford Kalaba, but he’ll have his work cut out. 2-1 to the Super Eagles.
WHAT MAKES IT MORE INTERESTING IS THAT FACT THE THE EAGLES AND THE COPPER BULLETS PLAY SAME TYPE OF FOOTBALL,N ITS ALL ABOUT TAKING YOUR CHANCES….LET THE BEST TEAM WIN….
Go boys go
Let the best team win these two teams play same football obi Michel and Nathan same who ever wins it will win the game not these strikers therefore chaila may stop the Nigerians but it is a 50 / 50 affair after all we are all Africans Nigerians are not huligans let them fill at home if u play well in their back yard they change and support the oponent
I expect nothing but a win for the super eagles. their squad has depth and are playing in the big leagues the recipe for world cup qualification
