The Zambia U23 National Team has travelled to Niamey to face Niger in an international friendly before the TotalEnergies U23 AFCON final round, first leg qualifier against Egypt.
The team left Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Oswald Mutapa’s side will face Niger on Friday in a friendly that both sides will be using to prepare for their final round qualifier against Egypt and Sudan respectively.
Zambia will be away to Egypt for the first leg at the Air Defense stadium on March 22 before hosting the young Pharaohs at Levy Mwanawasa stadium on March 27.
