Zambia U20 look to maintain winning streak as they face Korea Republic

The Zambia U20 national soccer team today take on South Korea in the Adidas Four Nations invitation tournament.

Zambia started well when they beat South American representatives Ecuador 2 – 0 in their opening match but today they face a side that has the home support behind and are also in a confident mood after they beat Honduras 3 – 2 in the opening match of the tournament.

The World Cup hosts in January played the Portugal U20 team in a game that ended 1 – 1.

Zambia on the other hand are in their third tournament since the team was assembled in December 2016 and they have only lost one game in all competitions including friendly games.

As coach Beston Chambeshi continues to shape his team, changes are expected to be made in today’s team after he made up to five changes in the game against Ecuador from the team that consistently featured during the Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Today’s game will be played at the Choenan Sports Complex at 19h00 local time which will be 12h00 in Zambia.

The Choenan Sports Complex is one of the world cup venues.

The Zambian lads are preparing for the FIFA U-20 World Cup that will be held in South Korea from May 20 to June 11.
