Zambia scores another AFCON qualification ‘goal’

The Zambian quartet of Hillary Hambaba, Chiwoyu Sinyangwe, Meck Zulu and Mathews Hamalila was in Lome, Togo for the Morocco 2025 Group E AFCON qualifier between The Hawks and Equatorial Guinea.

Hambaba was at the centre while Sinyangwe and Zulu were deployed as first and second assistants respectively with Hamalila being the fourth official.

Togo thrashed  Equatorial Guinea 3-0 to end their AFCON qualification campaign on a high note.

A brace from Yaw Annor and a goal from Kevin Denkey was enough for Togo who recorded their first win in Group E to end third behind Equatorial Guinea and Algeria.
