The match between Zambia and Malawi will be aired on the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation ( ZNBC) Television, The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed.
The international friendly match involving the two COSAFA neighboring countries will be beamed live on ZNBC TV One and Radio Two according to a press statement by FAZ Communications manager Sydney Mungala availed to the ZamFoot Crew.
FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed the development in an interview with FAZ media. Kashala is confident hat the beaming of the game will provide fans an opportunity to watch the Chipolopolo Boys and ease the pain of not being in the Stadium due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“I am happy to announce that the match between Zambia and Malawi will be beamed live on ZNBC TV and radio. With the game being behind closed doors, we have been inundated by cries to give fans a chance to watch, so we engaged ZNBC who have responded positively,” Kashala said.
“With the Covid-19 restrictions that bar fans from being in the stadium we are hopeful that the beaming of the game will provide fans an opportunity to watch the Chipolopolo.”
Zambia faces Malawi at National Heroes Stadium at 15:00 hours in an international friendly. The match will be staged behind closed doors. FAZ has lined up three international friendly matches starting with Malawi before engaging Kenya on Friday and South Africa on Sunday.
