The Zambia Women’s U20 national team have been drawn against fellow COSAFA giants South Africa in the preliminary round of the FIFA under-20 Women World Cup.
This is according to the fixtures released in Cairo today, for the African zone and made available to the ZamFoot Crew.

Inaugural COSAFA U-20 Women’s Cup champions Tanzania has been drawn against fellow East African giants Uganda, while Egypt takes on Morocco in the preliminary round which will take place in January 2020.
A record 29 countries have entered for the 2020 edition. The winner between Zambia and South Africa will face victors between Namibia and Botswana in the second round.
Only two winners from the fourth round will secure automatic qualification tickets to represent the continent at the final tournament to be organized in September 2020 with hosts yet to be announced.
