Zambia 🇿🇲:  Sporting Lusaka defender seals move to  FC MUZA

Sporting Lusaka defender Lemmy Zyambo joins Zambian Super League side FC Muza on a permanent deal.

The transfer was sealed earlier this week.

The highly rated left back will be looking to break into coach Lameck Banda’s side.

Sporting Lusaka CEO, Aaron Mubanga told the ZamFoot Crew in an interview that it was the right  time for the player to make a move.

“We are excited for what the future holds for Lemmy. He is such a good prospect and we know he will continue developing at MUZA under coach Lameck Banda,” Mubanga said in an exclusive interview.

“We had a few options but after discussions with FC MUZA and the player we knew this was the right move. We will always do what’s best for our players. Remember it was the same for Moses Simpasa (now at Atletico Lusaka), Sekanji Siame (Now at Power Dynamos) and Robert Banda (Now at Atletico Lusaka). We value development over anything,” he added.

Sporting Lusaka is a club playing it’s trade in the lower tier of Zambian football and is quickly becoming a hub for young talent with a number of players catching the eyes of many Super League and National League sides.

The likes of Lewis Mwachisemo, Tatenda Kunsenama, Choonya Shampongo, Enock Munkombwe, James Nene Sibeene, Gift Banda and Mulenga ‘Bem Bem’  are the next crop of players projected to set the Zambian football scene ablaze from the Sporting Lusaka conveyer belt.
