WSL: ZESCO open two point lead, Buffaloes held by YASA, Wins for Indeni, Kamfisa, Indeni, Eagles, Nkwazi and ZISDĀ 

ZESCO Ndola Girls have opened a two point lead at the summit of the FAZ Women’s Super Division. 

This follows their 2-1 win over Red Arrows thanks to goals from Vast Phiri and Avell Chitundu. Stacey Mwewa scored a consolation goal for the Airwomen. 

At OYDC, Defending Champions, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club were held to a goalless draw by a resilient YASA Queens side. 

At NASDEC, Indeni Roses continued their fine form as they saw off Elite Ladies 2-1. An own goal from Esther Munsaka and a Rhoda Chileshe goal from the penalty spot gave the Oilo Ladies a narrow win. 

Rachel Moono scored a hat-trick while Alice Chikoti and Esther Mumba scored a goal each as Green Eagles saw off Chipata Girls with a 5-0 emphatic win. 

At Sunset Stadium, It was an Enelesi Phiri show as she terrorised ZANACO Ladies netting a brace to guide Nkwazi Queens to a 3-2 win. 

Kamfisa Blue Eagles recorded a shock 1-0 win over Luyando Foundation Girls while ZISD eased past Queens Academy 2-0. 

Police Dove Queens edged Trident Queens 2-1 in an all North Western affair while Kabwe Celtic Queens suffered another huge defeat, 6-0 at the hands of National Assembly.
