ZESCO Ndola Girls continued their unbeaten run while Zanaco Ladies won their third straight win in a row.
The FAZ Women’s Super Division entered week 24 of action on Saturday with four matches taking centre stage.
Zegalicious opened a five point lead at the summit following a comfortable 4-1 win away in Chipata.
Avell Chitundu, Marjory Mulenga, Illes Phiri and Happy Pinto scored a goal each to guide the William Phiri coached side to a comfortable win. Sharon Sakala scored the consolation goal for Chipata Girls.
The win takes Zesco to 60 points after 23 games, five above defending Champions, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club who have played two games less.
Elsewhere, Zanaco Ladies recorded their third straight win as they beat Kamfisa Police Blue Eagles 3-0.
A brace from Justina Zulu and a goal from Chanda Katebe gave the Florence Mwila coached side a comfortable win.
At NASDEC, Green Eagles and Elite Ladies played out to a goalless draw. The Royal Girls, Queens Academy and National Assembly also shared the spoils.
Action continues tomorrow as YASA Queens welcome Red Arrows, Luyando Foundation Girls play host to Indeni Roses while Kabwe Celtic face Green Buffaloes.
