Women’s Super League defending Champions, Green Buffaloes have finally suffered their first defeat in 500 days.
Buffaloes were handed a 1-0 defeat by last season’s runners up ZESCO Ndola Girls.Charity Mubanga scored from the penalty spot to end Buffaloes’ 36 match unbeaten run and maintain a four match winning run this season.
Following the win, Zegalicious are joint top with Indeni Roses on 12 points after recording a 100 percent record in their opening four matches.
Elsewhere Indeni Roses handed Choma Warriors a 3-1 beating to make it 4 wins out of four.
Goals from Ngosa Chabwe, Esther Namukwasa and Edith Phiri handed the Oilo Women a comfortable win. Esther Mutinta scored a consolation goal for Choma Warriors.
ZANACO Ladies suffered their third loss of the season as Nkana Queens beat them 1-0 to record their first win of the season.
Peggy Petauke’s lone goal was enough for the newcomers to record a narrow win.
Nchanga Rangers Queens and Trident Queens played to a 1-1 draw while ZISD Women edged YASA Queens 1-0 thanks to a Lungowe Namasiku goal.
