WSL: Red Arrows triumph in a Lusaka derby, Kamfinsa edge Amazing Grace as Assembly hold Luyando 

The Eden University Women’s Super League entered week 9 of action after some exciting games, Red Arrows emerged victorious in a Lusaka derby, Kamfinsa edged Amazing Grace while Luyando and Indeni were both held to 1-1 draws. 

At Nkoloma Stadium, Red Arrows left it late as they saw off Nkwazi Queens in a Lusaka derby. 

Late goals from Mary Mukupa and Mary Mambwe gave the Airwomen a comfortable 3-1 win. 

Jessy Bwalya drew Nkwazi level after Doreen Mwaseba had put the hosts in the lead. 

At the Cage, Indeni Roses were held to a 1-1 draw by YASA Queens.Rosemary Nyirongo put YASA Queens in the lead before Mwila Mwamba levelled matters. 

In Kitwe, a brace from Rhoda Mwape gave Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles a comfortable 2-1 win over Amazing Grace. 

Ruth Muwowo scored the consolation goal for the visitors. 

At Nationalist Stadium, Luyando Foundation Girls were held to a 1-1 draw by National Assembly.

Patricia Lampi put the hosts in the lead 13 minutes into the match but an own goal by Grace Mwenya pulled Luyando Foundation Girls level. 

Neither side could find the winner hence the two teams settled for a point apiece.
