At Independence Stadium, Luyando Foundation Girls welcomed ZANACO Ladies looking for their first win of the season after suffering a 1-0 loss away to Green Eagles.

It was always going to be a difficult task against a brilliant ZANACO Ladies side that came from a win over Nchanga Rangers Queens.

The resilient Luyando Foundation Girls side kept ZANACO at bay for the majority of the game with Ruth Ngoma coming close twice in the second half.

However Tamika Simpamba provided a moment of brilliance going past defenders before slotting home in the 90th minute to hand Luyando their first win of the season.

At Kamfinsa Ground, Green Eagles made it back to back wins as they edged Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles 2-0.

Therasa Chibwe scored the opening goal of the game in the 38th minute with a brilliant lob before substitute Betina Banda could  put the icing on the cake with a headed finish in the 75th minute.

At Nchanga Stadium, Nchanga Rangers Queens returned to winning ways as they saw off Chipata Girls 2-0 with goals from Blessings Maluba and Christine Kabandama.
